All visitors to Ghana must have a valid US Passport  6 months from expiration with 2 blank  stamp pages.

All passengers must present a valid International Yellow Fever Vaccination Card for entry into Ghana. It is  recommended the vaccine be given 4-6 weeks prior to travel. Boosters for Yellow Fever may be recommended every 10 years for those who remain at risk or travel extensively. 

The Yellow Fever Vaccine is very safe and effective and is recommended for adults and children over 9 months who will be traveling to high-risk areas. You must present your Yeloow Fever Card for upon arrival in Ghana.

All travelers 18 years and older are required to present a COVID Vaccination Certificate or medical exemption. Failure to present either will result in you being denied boadrding onto your departure flight inthe US. If  you enter Ghana without either of the two, you will be required to take a PCR Vovid Test at the airport. A positive covid test will require you be qaurintined for a minimum of 72 hours/3 days unitl you are retested.

Unfortunately African Roots Travel  does not offer refunds to our clients for booked  tours or deposits. We encourage all clients to purchase  travel insurance  to cover unforseen circumstances such as flight delays, emergencies, cancellations or illness.

We cab tranfer the tour to another individuall or group you designate for same tour date.

Deposits must be submitted to confirm tour by the deadline.  Failure to submit depsoit  will result in nonreservation. Limited spaces have been reserved for this trip. If you need to make alternative payment arrangements, please contact us.

Once Depsoit is submiited, a tour payment schedule will be provided lisitng payment dates. Tour payments are payed through a secured electronic link that will be emailed to you. Showtime Travel based out of Atlanta, Georgia administers and collects all payments on behalf of African Roots Travel.

The Baby Like Me program was created to  promote postitive self esteem and appreciation of natural black beauty in  girls ages 4-12. The girls are gifted Black Baby Dolls  during a the program while participating in  self affirmations, games and bonding sessions.
